Stadium seating, as an essential facility in sports venues, directly impacts venue utilization, operational flexibility, and the overall gaming experience. Movable and fixed stadium seating, due to differences in structural design and functional characteristics, result in drastically different application scenarios, catering to the needs of various venue types.

Fixed stadium seating is characterized by its high stability and durability, primarily suitable for professional venues hosting frequent sporting events. These venues are often large sports centers, professional football stadiums, basketball courts, such as Olympic main stadiums and professional league stadiums. Fixed seating is typically integrated with the stadium structure, constructed from high-strength materials, capable of withstanding long-term, intensive use, and can be precisely planned and arranged according to venue capacity, ensuring unobstructed views for spectators. Furthermore, venues such as school stadiums and community sports centers, which are open to students, teachers, and residents long-term, also tend to choose fixed seating due to its low maintenance costs and long lifespan, meeting the long-term stable usage requirements of the venue without frequent layout adjustments, making it suitable for daily physical education teaching, training, and mass sports activities.

Compared to fixed seating, mobile grandstand seating prioritizes flexibility, making it more adaptable to various scenarios, especially suitable for situations with dynamically changing needs and multi-functional venues. Temporary event venues are a core application, such as marathon finish line viewing areas, outdoor music festival grandstands, and temporary sports venues. Mobile seating can be quickly set up and dismantled, allowing for timely cleanup after the event without affecting the venue's original function. Multi-functional venues are also important for mobile seating, such as convention centers, cultural squares, and school auditoriums. These venues need to accommodate multiple functions including events, performances, and exhibitions. Mobile seating can be adjusted according to the scale of the event, achieving "multi-purpose use" and improving venue utilization. Furthermore, for some small sports venues or venues undergoing renovation and upgrades, mobile seating can serve as transitional facilities to meet short-term needs while allowing for future optimization of the venue.

Fixed seating is more suitable for high-end sports venues with extremely high requirements for safety and comfort, such as FIFA-certified football stadiums and NBA standard arenas. Its fixed structure ensures the stability of the seating area and can be equipped with high-end features such as seat heating and ventilation to enhance the viewing experience. Movable seating is more suitable for special scenarios such as emergency rescue and temporary gatherings, such as temporary resettlement sites after natural disasters and seating for large-scale charity events.
